Julie Buxton began her commercial real estate career in 2005 with Trammell Crow Company, Dallas, TX. When TCC was purchased by CBRE in 2007 she transitioned with the company and moved from Dallas to Chicago. Buxton joined McGraw Commercial Properties in April 2019. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Tulsa and her MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago. She specializes in tenant representation and project leasing for office and retail, as well as development and corporate services. Past clients include FedEx Kinko’s Office for national site selection, Google, Avery Dennison, and several other Fortune 300 companies as well privately held entities.
Outside of her experience as a commercial real estate agent, Buxton has worked as an energy trader as well as a corporate merger and acquisitions specialist. Additionally, she is a graduate of LEADNorth, a program designed to attract leaders who are interested in contributing to the progress of the North Tulsa community.
In her spare time, Buxton volunteers with her church, Habitat for Humanity, and owns a business called GiFTT (Global Fair Trade Treasures) where she serves as a retailer and wholesaler of handmade certified fair trade items from Africa.
